Zephiro is a new wave/post punk band from Rome, Italy, which formed in 2002. The band consists of Claudio Desideri (lead vocals, bass, kaossilator), Claudio Todesco (lead guitar, vocals, kaoss pad) and Leonardo Sentinelli (drums, wave drum). 10 years of career, more than 300 live shows. In 2006 they release their first album “Immagina un giorno”. They support great musicians as Carl Palmer (from Emerson, Lake and Palmer), Diaframma and Enrico Capuano. They win Un palco per il M.E.I. – Kataweb, Rock Targato Italia, Videofestival live. Their songs are spread by Radio 2, Radio Deejay, Radio Popolare and Radio Rock. In 2009 they launch their first ”JAPAN TOUR”. In 2010 the band moves to Tokyo for 3 months and launches into the “ZEPHIRO JAPAN TOUR 2010” in which they perform in 37 live shows between Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka and Kawasaki. In 2011 they jump into the U.S.A. to start the “ZEPHIRO NEW YORK TOUR”. In 2012 they publish “Kawaita me”, an EP that includes 2 Japanese tracks adapted by Daisuke Ninomiya.
